Another quick post from AZ

Anson and Yaya sure seem to be getting along.
Anson helping Yaya climb, what a good brother.
 What fun.
This was a cooler morning spent in Sedona
 Yaya and mom enjoying breakfast.
Nothing like a long day on the trail.
Anson helping me put up the tent.
As you've noticed, we really haven't had much time to play with the blog. And nothings changed. So here are just a few photos of a few fun moments in AZ. We wish we had more to post. Ali is pregnant with number 3, a boy, due in July. I graduate from my masters program in a month. We're hoping to be in med school here in AZ this fall. Me getting in would call for another post. So hopefully you'll hear from us again soon.

The Great Change

It finally happened...the shaving of the beard! Watch as evolution occurs right before your eyes.

The wonderful before picture

So there you have it. The new me. I'm back and badder than ever. Ali is even kissing me again! It's like a whole new relationship where communication occurs, feelings are shared, and she's even letting me sleep in the same room as her now (still working on the same bed).

Life sure is different when you don't have a beard. The security guards on BYU campus now stop me and ask me if I'm a student. I don't catch people staring at me then turning their eyes quickly when I look at them. Now when I spill something I can feel it drip down my face. A cold wind hits my face and makes my chin feel funny. And I when I eat I don't get hair in my mouth. Yes, I sure will miss that beard. I can only hope that one day...maybe...we'll be reunited.

Life...wow.

So I got a letter in the mail last Friday from a grad school saying, "Congratulations, you've been accepted into our program." I call them on Monday and they say, "You got an acceptance letter from us? Oh, that was a mistake...sorry."

Life can be so frustrating sometimes.

The New Update

This post represents from Sept to Dec of this year. We've been a little distracted with applications, work, and just plain old stuff. But, those of you who know us the best know that nothing can keep us from going out and having a good time. So, the photos are the stories. There isn't many as a result of a misplaced camera, but here are a few.

Mike and Anson trying to look epic on the way up the ski lift to the top of the mountain

Mike is to excited too look epic, but Anson stayed looking a little nervous the entire way

Beauty shot, of my bike

Yaya looking epically epic across the corn box

Anson playing in a sandbox made of corn

Dodging in and out of Alis view

These sheep smell...metallic?

Walking on hay bails. . . balls of steel

Picking the last of the garden tomatoes

She's a gift alright

Enjoying decorating a gingerbread house, or just enjoying ourselves

Anson climbed this rock by himself (with dad spotting of course)

This was the night we worked on the gingerbread house. You can watch the sugar running through Anson's veins.
